Eastcrest Energy was founded in 2026 by a team of New Jersey electricians, project managers, and solar installers who had watched too many homeowners get burned by companies that disappeared the day after a warranty claim came in. We set out to build the opposite — a local solar company where the crew that sells you the system is the same crew that installs it, activates it, and still picks up the phone five years later when a squirrel gets under the array.

Our office is in Branchburg, in Somerset County, and our crews serve 11 counties across New Jersey — from the barrier-island shore of Cape May and Ocean County up through Middlesex, Monmouth, Mercer, and Hunterdon. Every project is designed, permitted, installed, and interconnected by Eastcrest employees. We do not subcontract installation, electrical work, or roofing. When something is our responsibility, we own it end-to-end.

That philosophy shapes every decision we make. We install tier-1 panels from REC, Qcells, Trina, and SunPower — not whatever was cheapest at the distributor last month. We pair them with Enphase microinverters or SolarEdge optimizers, both of which have real warranty infrastructure that doesn't evaporate when something fails. And we offer the most comprehensive coverage in the state: a 25-year product warranty, a 25-year inverter warranty, and a 25-year workmanship warranty on the install itself.

Financing is $0 down through Sunlight Financial, Sunnova, SunPower Financial, or Mosaic, chosen to fit your situation — not ours. Most of our residential customers start saving money the first month their system is active, because the loan payment they take on is lower than the utility bill they replace. We'll show you the exact math before you sign anything.

We also service what others installed. If your original solar company is out of business, unresponsive, or you just want a local team that answers its phone, we take over existing systems, handle warranty claims with the manufacturers directly, and get production back to where it should be. Quite a few of our repeat customers come to us for service first and then upgrade or add battery storage later.
